Australia’s premier body painting event is taking place on Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 April in the Noosa Hinterland town of Cooroy in a new venue at Apex Park. With a theme this year of “Other Worlds” we know it will delight the senses!
The festival is a colourful and creative experience and offers a unique free weekend of activities.
The only ticketed event is the Friday night official opening which is sure to be a soiree to remember! The ticket price is a bargain at an out of this world price of $25 per person and they will sell out. So don’t be disappointed, book now!
Included in your ticket price are grazing tables with amazing local products and produce, face painting, cash bar, Welcome to Country by Gubbi Gubbi Dance, roving performers and music into the night by Wayne Wiltshire.
The food will be sourced locally and co-ordinated by Black Ant Gourmet of Kin Kin. Vegetarian and gluten free options will be available and local producers will also be on hand for those interested in learning more about this wonderful natural food bowl that is the Sunshine Coast.

The Australian Government has contributed $34,500 in funding from the Building Better Regions Fund which will facilitate the move to the new venue of Apex Park while also growing the festival and providing an extended entertainment program across the weekend.
The Australian Body Art Festival is supported by the Queensland Government through Tourism and Events Queensland’s Destination Events Program, which has provided an additional $12,000 in funding for marketing and infrastructure support. The event features on the It’s Live! in Queensland events calendar, which is worth $800m to the state’s economy in 2019.
